Action Required for VAT Payment Deferral

The government announced that VAT liabilities for the quarter ended 31st March 2020 can been deferred until the end of this year. However action must be taken immediately for those paying by direct debit.

VAT payers on Direct Debit, must stop them in their Gateway login account. HMRC does not have the power to, and will collect if action is not taken.
